AI Product Optimizer

Your Shopping feed is
costing you sales

Missing attributes and weak titles quietly hold back the products you've already proven people want. The AI Product Optimizer starts with your best sellers, fills the gaps, and rewrites what's underperforming — then waits for your approval before anything touches Merchant Center.

Not a list of 10,000 products

Most feed tools hand you a spreadsheet of every error in your catalogue and leave you to it. This one asks a better question first: which products are already making you money, and what's holding them back? It only ever looks at products you haven't optimised yet, and works down in this order.

1

Products with sales

Ranked by revenue. Fixing a product that already converts pays back fastest.

2

Products with clicks

No sales yet, but people are choosing them. Often a listing problem, not a demand problem.

3

Products with impressions

Being shown but ignored. Usually the title or the missing attributes are the reason.

4

Everything else, at random

New or invisible products still get a turn, so nothing sits in the dark forever.

Once you publish a product it's marked as optimised and never suggested again — so you're always moving forward.

The attributes Google actually rewards

Google matches your products to searches using the data you give it. Every blank field is a search you can't appear for. The optimizer fills the gaps and sharpens what's already there.

✍️

Titles & descriptions

Rewrites weak, keyword-thin titles so the important words come first — and turns bare descriptions into something that actually sells.

Identity & taxonomy

Gets your products into the right Google category and product type, so they're matched to the right searches and comparisons.

Variant attributes

The fields shoppers filter by. Missing these quietly removes you from filtered results and variant groupings.

Detail & specs

Highlights and technical specifications that give Google more to match on — and give shoppers a reason to click you over the identical listing next to you.

Popularity rank

Google lets you tell it how popular a product is on your own store. We work it out from your real Shopping performance and fill it in for you — no guesswork.

Three products, four steps

No spreadsheets, no feed rules, no re-uploading anything.

1

Connect

Link your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts through Google's secure OAuth. Your products sync automatically.

2

We pick & write

We surface your three highest-value un-optimised products and the AI drafts every attribute it can support with your own product data.

3

You review

See every change side by side with what's there now. Edit anything, untick what you don't want, fill in what the AI flagged.

4

Publish

One click sends it to Merchant Center. The product is marked optimised, and we move on to the next three.

It tells you what it doesn't know

The fastest way to get a product disapproved is to fill your feed with confident-sounding guesses. So when the AI can't support an attribute from your actual product data, it doesn't invent one — it hands the question back to you, marked and ready to fill in.

Everything is a suggestion until you say otherwise. Nothing publishes on its own.

✦ What it will and won't do
Infers what's supportable. Reads your title, description and existing attributes to work out material, colour, category and more.
Flags what it can't. Weight, dimensions and codes it can't see are marked needs your input — blank, not guessed.
Never invents identifiers. GTINs, MPNs and brands are never fabricated to fill a gap.
Never fakes a certification. Only Google's supported schemes, validated before sending — no invented compliance claims.
Leaves your feed alone. Changes go to a supplemental data source, so your source feed is never rewritten.

Questions worth asking

Will it change my product feed without asking?

No. Nothing is sent to Merchant Center until you tick the attributes you want and press publish. You can edit any value first, or skip a product entirely.

Does it overwrite my source feed?

No. Changes are written to a supplemental data source in your Merchant Center account, so your original feed stays exactly as it is. Merchant Center merges the two, and it can take a few minutes for the processed product to update.

Which products does it choose?

The ones that matter most first. It only looks at products you haven't optimised yet, then ranks them by sales, then clicks, then impressions. If a product has no performance data at all, it's picked at random so new products still get a turn.

What if the AI doesn't know an attribute?

It tells you instead of guessing. Anything it can't safely infer from your product data is flagged as “needs your input” and left blank for you to fill in. It will never invent a GTIN, brand, material, weight or certification.

What do I need to use it?

A Google Ads account connected to AdTool with a linked Merchant Center account, and your products synced. You get 3 AI suggestions per account per day, and you'll need to apply or skip your current suggestions before generating more — it's built to keep you finishing what you start, not stockpiling drafts.

Which attributes can it optimise?

Title, description, brand, Google product category, product type, colour, material, pattern, size, size system, size type, gender, age group, availability, condition, length, weight, energy efficiency class, product highlights, product details, certifications and popularity rank.

Can I go back to a suggestion later?

Yes. Every suggestion is saved. Close the page and come back whenever you like — your current set will be waiting exactly as you left it.
